GetMCP turns an existing API into a Model Context Protocol server that AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code and Cursor can call. You import a cURL, OpenAPI, Swagger or Postman spec, pick which endpoints become tools, and test them in a playground. It is self-hosted: a PHP app or a WordPress plugin that runs on your own server, with call logs and per-tool scopes.

What is GetMCP?

Is it hosted for me?

No. The vendor site says it is fully self-hosted, as a PHP app or WordPress plugin on your own server.

What does it need to run?

The standalone app needs PHP 8.3 or newer. SQLite works with no setup, and MySQL and PostgreSQL are supported.

Does it limit calls or servers?

The vendor says paid plans have no per-call fees or usage gates.

Can I use it for client work?
