What is Muro Analytics?
Most analytics tools wait for you to log in and go looking. Muro Analytics works the other way round: it writes up yesterday's traffic and signups in plain English and sends that to your inbox at 8 AM. Reading it takes about two minutes, and you can skip the dashboard on most days.
What Muro Analytics actually does
At its core this is a cookieless website analytics tool with a daily email on top. It counts visits, sources and pages, then ties them to the signups and revenue they produced. Here is what that covers:
- Send a daily Morning Brief to your inbox or Slack at 8 AM - Record visits, sources and pages without cookies or a consent banner - Create branded short links and QR codes that track signups - Track clicks on any button by adding one HTML attribute - Count goal conversions across your past data, not only from the day you set the goal - Show where visitors drop off in a funnel and which sources bring in revenue - Flag traffic spikes and drops with a short note
The backdated goals deserve a second look. Mark your thank-you page as a goal today and Muro counts the signups that happened before you set it up, so you are not starting from zero and waiting a month for a baseline. Few analytics tools do that, and it removes the usual penalty for setting things up late.
Two parts carry most of the weight. The Morning Brief turns yesterday's numbers into sentences instead of charts and can be posted to your team channel as well as your inbox. Muro Links then answer the attribution question: give each channel, sponsor or creator its own short link or QR code, and every one of them gets credit for the signups it sent. You stop guessing which newsletter mention worked.
Around those sit Smart Insights, a quick note when traffic jumps or falls while there is still time to react, and Funnels and Revenue, which show the step where people leave before signing up and the sources that pay.
Our take: the brief is the product, and the dashboard is the backup. If you already open your analytics every morning and enjoy slicing reports, a daily summary adds little. If your analytics tab has been closed for three weeks, an email you cannot avoid will tell you more than a dashboard you never visit. That is a real trade, because a two-minute summary leaves detail out by design.
Who it's built for
Muro suits people who need an answer to one question, which post or link produced signups, and who do not want a reporting job on the side. The vendor names solo founders, startup growth leads, agencies and performance marketers, and a few groups get something specific out of it:
- Agencies setting up client sites without a cookie banner - EU and privacy-first businesses replacing GA4 to get full visitor counts with no consent popup - Creators and course sellers who put a different link on each channel to find the one that sells
Store owners are covered too: connect a Shopify store and the brief shows which posts and ads brought in sales. Larger teams can send the same brief to everyone, which settles the argument about whose numbers are right. Slack delivery is included on every plan.
How you actually use it
- Paste one script under 2 KB into your site, or hand the ready-made prompt to your AI coding assistant. - Let it record visits, sources, pages and Muro Link clicks; it works with Webflow, Framer, Next.js, WordPress or plain HTML. - Mark your thank-you page as a goal so signups are counted, including earlier ones. - Read the 2-minute brief at 8 AM, and open the dashboard when you want to dig deeper.
The entry tier on RocketHub is $59 and covers 1 website, 1 seat and 50k page views a month with 1 year of data retention. That fits a single site. Agencies should look at the higher tiers, which go up to 50 websites and unlimited data retention at $399. Every tier includes API access and whitelabel.
