What is The 1TB Cloud Storage & File Transfer?
This bundle pairs two tools from the same European team: Drime, a 1TB encrypted cloud drive, and Transfr Pro, a service for sending large files and seeing what happens to them afterwards. One keeps your work. The other delivers it.
What Drime and Transfr Pro actually do
Drime's Essentials plan is the storage half. It behaves like the sync folder you already know, then adds the things people usually bolt on with separate apps: editing, review comments, signatures and controlled sharing. Transfr Pro is the delivery half, built for the moment a finished file has to reach a client.
- Store 1TB in Drime, hosted in the EU and GDPR-compliant, with no data routed through U.S. servers - Lock sensitive files in an end-to-end encrypted Vault (256-bit AES + SSL/TLS), encrypted locally so even Drime can't read them - Upload files of any size, with no need to split or compress large videos, raw photos or project archives - Share workspaces with up to 15 members and roll any file back for up to 120 days - Edit documents, leave timestamped comments on videos and PDFs, and collect e-signatures through Drime Sign - Share links with passwords, custom URLs, expiration dates and view access stats - Send transfers of unlimited size through Transfr Pro, with 1TB of shared-file storage and each transfer available for up to 60 days - Track views, downloads, visitor locations and transfer activity in real time with Send & Track analytics - Put your own branding on transfer pages and let recipients preview documents, images and videos before downloading
The two halves overlap less than the names suggest. Drime is where a project lives while you work on it: the folder your team opens every morning, the version you restore when someone overwrites the wrong draft, the PDF a client signs. Transfr is a courier. A transfer stays available for up to 60 days and then it is gone, which is what you want for a one-off delivery and the wrong thing for an archive.
Send & Track is the feature that earns Transfr its place here. Most transfer services tell you a link was opened, if that. This one shows views, downloads and where the visitor was, as it happens. You stop writing "did you get the files?" emails, and you know whether a client looked at the proof before the call or only during it. Transfers are end-to-end encrypted, and an address book saves you retyping the same recipients.
Our take: the tracked transfers are the real reason to pick the bundle over a plain storage plan. 1TB is a modest amount for anyone working with video, and you will notice the ceiling within a year or two of raw footage. A storage drive that also proves delivery is harder to find.
Who it's built for
This fits a freelancer or a small studio that hands large files to clients and wants one supplier for both the storage and the handover: a wedding videographer sending a finished film, a designer delivering print files, a two-person agency getting contracts signed and assets approved. The Essentials plan covers individuals and teams of up to 15 members. European hosting matters most if your clients ask where their data sits.
Check the limits first. Essentials does not include role-based permissions, central admin tools or team activity tracking; Drime keeps those for its Professional plan. The Drime desktop app runs on Windows 10 or later and on macOS, but Intel-based Macs are not supported yet. Mobile needs Android 5.0 or later, or iOS 13 or later. Transfr Pro has no desktop app at all and works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and other modern browsers.
If you only need somewhere to park files, a storage plan alone does the job. If part of your week is sending big deliverables and wondering whether they arrived, the pairing makes more sense than two separate tools. Have a look at the deal and compare the 1TB against what you store today.
