AnyToSpeech covers the same basic job as ElevenLabs: turning text into spoken audio. It starts from documents and links more than from code. That makes it a good swap for some users and a poor one for developers.
Who should switch
Switch if you make occasional voiceovers, turn documents into audio, or stay within about 50,000 characters a month. The AnyToSpeech lifetime plan takes pasted text, PDF, DOCX, PPTX, images and web links. For other voice tools, see the AI voice deals.
Stay on ElevenLabs if your code calls its API, because the AnyToSpeech deal page does not mention one. Stay if you need a mobile app, since the deal page says the service is web only. Stay also if you rely on several cloned voices, because Hobby saves one.
What it costs over three years
ElevenLabs Starter is $6 a month on monthly billing (a first-month promotion is running at the time of writing; the figures here use the standard price), with 30,000 credits. Creator is $22 a month with 121,000 credits. Annual billing lowers both to about $5 and $18.33 a month. ElevenLabs counts plans in credits, and on its current multilingual models one credit is one character, so Starter gives about 30,000 characters a month. These are list prices for October 2026. Check the current price before you compare.
Three years of Starter cost $216. The AnyToSpeech Hobby plan costs $39.99 once. It breaks even in month 7 against Starter, and saves about $176 over three years. Against Creator, three years cost $792, so the gap grows to about $752.
On paper, Hobby's 50,000 characters a month is more than Starter's 30,000. The two services count usage differently, so run your own scripts through the trial period before you rely on that number.
What you give up
The Hobby plan includes 50,000 characters a month, 200 transcription minutes a month, one saved voice clone and standard support. It does not include Podcast Series. The page lists Standard at $59.99 and Pro at $199.99, but its comparison table gives no limits for either, so check those before you upgrade.
The "150+ premium voices in 27 languages" figure is the vendor's own claim. Listen to the voices you use before you commit.
The page also lists speech-to-speech editing, voice cloning, audio and video transcription and media translation. If you use those features on ElevenLabs, test each one on your own material before you cancel. If your work is mostly one narrator reading scripts, the Hobby plan covers that without the extras.
